You have to visit this place for the "Posta Á Fuso" beef. Its their signature dish and its soft and tasty.Also the couple who runs the place are very friendly and welcoming.

I had an octopus here with potatoes, it was really great. Also tried white wine that the owner recommended, it was great and surprisingly pretty cheap. We were the only customers there when we came and we talked to the owner the whole time while waiting for food, so the time passed real quick. Great guy with a lot of interesting stories to tell. If you're nearby, give them a visit.

Visited this place on our last day on Madeira, a few hours before our flight back.Owners - amazing married couple, were incredibly welcoming. We ordered an octopus and a beef steak, owner who’s an unbelievable cook herself prepared them. Sadly, we didn’t discover that place earlier, because we would’ve definitely visited it before. Would definitely recommend this restaurant to everybody!

Wow, what a great place. I was with my son looking for a final place to eat in Madeira before taking back our plane. Actually, the owner inform me that it was close that night for a special event. You know what...they invited us to eat!. We had the restaurant just for us. That so sweet from that lovely couple. We were feeling very special. The steak and octopus was "succulent"! Nice conversation, nice conversation. I recommend

If you drive by it, you might miss it, but it's worth everything to enter! Once inside you'll be welkomed by husband and wife,.who are the kindness itself. The owner comes up to your table and loves to make conversation. As soon as you smell the 'bolo de caco' a local garlic bread. You'll be sold! It's not expensive as well!Don't hesitate, just enter!
